Local Area Development Authority
Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority was established in the year 1975. There are seven municipal corporations and fifteen smaller municipal councils under MMRDA. Mumbai is located on Salsette Island off the West Coast of India. MMRDA aims at the balanced growth and development of integrated infrastructure of the city. However, today this advance city is facing many challenges. To tackle every challenges, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority is trying its best to benefit all the social and economic groups.
